Quote from: boss on July 17, 2008, 19:55:55is that what it is? i am rubbish!LOL, I can't believe you do all this fabrication work and seriously get into your machine, but don't recognise the horn! I'm the opposite, can recognise the horn but don't have a clue when it comes to welding and fabrication LOL
that raingie(yellow one) was built by a guy called jez, the full build is on superv8racing.com i think. he built mouse, the yellow "thing" i posted pics of a few days ago. nice bloke.the only 2 discos i have seen with tubular wings is the one on dumper tyres and one that is currently in howling wolf. i haven't been working on the disco for the past few days, been doing a trial at a job in haverhill but I'm not going back....its [!Expletive Deleted!]!this is a newer photo of the disco.... morealess what I'm aiming for...but different.....i got alot of work to do! as i keep saying ihave to get my arse in gear and sort some of this out. i need a way of supporting the disco chassis so i can take all 4 wheels and axles off and make them look pretty and so i can work on the wings. may see if i can half inch some off of mark at the farm. also going to look into making my own stuff from now on(trailing arms, cage, bead lock rims looking into PTO winches).....its a nicer feeling at the end of the day.but at the moment i have no clue! i am playing it by ear, ill have a plan in my head then diversify from it into something else then into something else. it could even end up as a tray back at the end of my sporadic ideas. its not a good thing to do.may have some more pics for you tomorrow, got the tray welded up, but I'm not sure weather to weld it to the chassis or to bolt it(i don't have a diecont drill at the moment!)
has anyone put a dump valve ona disco does it work?
