that is because there all using variable vain turbos, the dump valve is to improve response time and lag, with the variable vain nither is applicable.
Just a brief query, what's an "FMIC"? Guessing it's some sort of intercooler but the FM bit puzzled me. A larger intercooler is probably next on my list, only snag is I have aircon and understand that this makes it difficult to upgrade the IC?I recall reading somewhere that 150bhp is a sensible output for the 300TDI, trying to go much above that isn't practical for a normal car as it becomes increasingly prone to melting or blowing up.

i think i hate chequer plate ;)the floor will be replaced when i put a tumble bar on. i have no way of getting to the chassis otherwise.i will try to find a nice thick piece of Alli.....sourced from a road side maby :lol: i joke but it probably wont be chequer plate.
more body chopping. setting out to neaten it up a little but i don't think i have done a very good job! what are peoples opinions?
like the shunt nose the 38s wont be happening!....yet! got to keep it as low down as possible because of the new house.....i think its going to be a bit of a squeeze getting it in and out
