...Serious question and in no way an insult to those who do own them.
I have been looking at them and at the Proper Range Rover lately.
I along with some friends have come to the conclusion that the Sport is dare I say it a bit 'chav' and that the proper Range Rover is the real deal.
What are your thoughts if any about this, just that the Sport is a very common sight on our roads now :?

Once you've driven the real deal full fat one ... there's no contest really. The sport is built on the T5 chassis, same as the D3. Range Rover itself is built on it's own :)

Haven driven the RR Supercharged, I just love that whine as the right foot goes down. Most of the Sports I've seen are the lower spec ones. If, and it would be a very big 'if', I ever had the money, I would go for the pukka RR and get it 'Overfinch'd'.

We've just taken delivery - replacing the VXR500 (supercharged) Monaro - which was excellent. First impressions are good - will be better once a supercharger is fitted.

We had a pursuit the other day and the RS4 my mate was chasing left him standing at 120mph
He said after it was like I was standing still!

Needless to say the RS4 is the choice of car for thieves for speed and handling! which is why if you have one don't put your keys close to the letter box or it will be gone in the morning!
If want to walk it walk it, if you want to ride it ride it just leave me alone to drive it!

The money Thrasher spent would just about get you an R8 ;)
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

I suspect an R8's offroad life would be breif and seriously expensive :)
