Ive had my 200tdi disco 3 weeks now and it seems to be freeing up nicely after a good service (having been sat around in storage for a couple of months!) fuel economy has also improved a lot (27mpg, now up to near 34mpg)
Just done a tank of fuel with Redex diesel cleaner in it, FANTASTIC results!
Used to use it on my old petrol uno once in a while and it made a bit of a difference but in the disco its awesome!
Smoked like a train for about the first hundred to hundred and fifty miles, now no smoke (except the little bit on start up) and power, power delivery, torque and smoothness is vastly improved, as is the engines willingness to rev a bit! Its also noticeably less agricultural sounding at tickover.
Highly recommend it to anyone with a 200tdi, do a full tank and drive it all through the rev range (been in wales up and down a load of big hills so been going quite hard on the old bus) great results!
