Got the cutting out of the paper a little while back, anyhow --

                            Silverline power tool drag race

    Its this sunday 5th, Being held at the haynes motor museum, Somerset.

    I caught some of this  from the states (of course) on tv a while back and it looked pretty mad to say the least, I guess a looky round the museum also could be a good day out ???
TD5 with a few Tweaks ;o)
a bit more fuel friendly than the V8

I think I saw that too  :shock:

there were different levels of racing to the top level where they had trikes powered by sanders and chain saws one guy had a pulse jet powered leaf blower pushing a trike  8)  8)  8)  

didn't get up to much speed but I reckon If you gave him the top gear test trake that thing would motor ..
so many hills , so little time ....

Had a looky on the museums web site and has a link to this event and some pics, previous entrants include a go cart powered by 8 (yes 8 ) chainsaw engines  :twisted:   also had  a "unridden" section also
TD5 with a few Tweaks ;o)
