Exhaust manifold assembly
« on: August 01, 2007, 17:10:39 »
On the 200tdi engine the exhaust manifold is in three parts, the parts slide together then bolt to the head.  The joints that slide seem quite loose and in no way gas tight - are you supposed to put some sort of joining compound in there?

Thanks in advance

Landrover tolerances mate :)

Seriously though I have no idea. I'm sure someone that does will be along soon.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.
