From a line in a song:

Hobnail Kelly and the Beefcake Kid
Just rode into town from the land of sewn-up faces
Looking for a woman who could punch and kick and fight ...

Firstly, proper name is Benjamin.

One day at school some friends wondered why this name is always shortened to Ben. (Easily bored and i did know some slightly insane people!)

Henceforth i was named Jamin :D

SWMBO use to be the manager of an Animal home and we use to take on a lot of the dogs that vets said shouldnt/couldnt be rehomed (temprement or illnes), so could have anything up to 10 dogs at one time.
They would be all sorts of mutt's and i also used the saying "Dogs B*££*^ks" alot and "It's the Mutz".

So when i needed a nickname on a site wife suggested it, some times add something on the end if someone else is using just Mutz.

obevouis really cause i mainly go greenlaning, tryed that one and was used, so since only lane in wales then decided welshlaner

So way wish i hadn't cause loads of grief, there was a small club/assciation called welshlaners, they never had web site or anything but moan like hell cause i used the same name.

Now they have started there own thread/posts on other forums using the name, on one forum got us banned cause i did not know there was a account under welshlaners, silly really reg.  for 2 years never wrote a post.

They go laning but its a private club and keep themselves to themselves, they never advertise have a website nothing
Without a club  2008 - any takers

I test software and hardware for a living.

Some years back I was asked why a project was going wrong and either I replied or a project manager "don't ask me/him he's just a buttonmonkey" stuck ever since.

I'm a quietly spoken and most people can hear I have said something but not understand what I said. My Dad called this boddling and decided to call me Boddle as he had a nickname for all of us in the family.

When looking to start a website I decided to use it as it was not likely to be registered.

Some people have called me Kenny(Southpark) for the above reasons
