following on from breaker breaker topic! home CB!

ok, being a bit sad, and loving listening to my CB when im in the car, im thinking of setting up a fixed rig/CB command center  :lol: in my room at uni this coming september (I HOPE JUST NEED TO WAIT FOR THURSDA?Y 16th aug WHEN MY RESULTS COME OUT!!) and wondering what i need, where to get and how much!?

i wish it was the 70's* again  8)


*i think that was when the CB craze was?  :?

CB Command Centre? Are you planning on World domination? What you will is a 12v power pack, a rig and a large base aerial, something like a half wave. That should do it. Try looking on the Net, or Breakers World in Bordon. That would be the nearest place to you.
As for being back in the 70's, thats open to debate!

AS LSP says if your using your mobile rig you will need a power supply 240-12v and a home antenna

I think i may have a home antenna in the garage which you can have if you can get mc express or similar.
