Scenic help - Air filter woes !

Looked in the Scenic owners book for guidence but nothing, looked online - nothing - so :lol:  on a 2002 1.9 DTI scenic how do you change the air filter. I think its under the big plastic cover but its not budging  :twisted:

HELP  :cry:

If it's the one I think it is:

On the large silver cover are 3 circular plastic covers.
Pop these out and undo the 8mm bolts.
Lift off the plastic cover and then you can get at the air filter housing bolts.
One is on the drivers side at the rear of the engine (just by the lifting eye).
The other is next to the air inlet trunking, both 10mm nuts on long studs, so you'll need a deep socket to remove them.
Lift housing off.  :wink:

Renault scenic, drive it in the rain and watch where all the water collects don't you :?

2002 1.9 dti Renault Scenic??
I simply undo the 4 screws and its under there :?  
Something tells me yours is different!!

Yep mine was different, huge grey plastic cover that covered the whole engine but there was a rectangle that was a different colour, 3 screws and it was off  :lol:
30 second job  :wink:
Moved over to the dark side - Suzuki's !
