Got 2 of these in at work today what vehicle do you reckon it is and guess the engine??? 8)  8)

it's not a ford puma the vehicle's are brand new 57 plates  8)  :lol: and it does say puma on the engine mount!!

Total junk wouldnt trust on as far as i could chuck it, got sick and tired of working on them in transits, one of the main reasons i left ford, stupid citroen,

we had a tdci engine once in a ford torneo minibs, we had 1 problem which was an air lock in the turbo pipe or somthing like that, other than that we loved it, and put 10,000 miles on it in 4 months. :D

AS a former P.S.A Puegeot Citreon employee (The french shut us down!) I can tell you that the TDCi/ HDi was a joint development betwen Ford and P.S.A with just slight differences to suit their applications. The same is true of the latest Peugeot petrol engines as fitted to the new 207 though in that cae it is a collabaration with BMW (new mini engine)

As to the reliability issues you mentioned I can't recall that ever being an issue with the peugeot version of the engine although the two Brands do manufaufacture them in different facilities so maybe thats the reson :roll:

If this is the van I'm thinking of my mate has one. The mpg indicator is great 99.9 mpg on tickover but 11 mpg when he is driving round town's!!!
