Engine removal - Auto
« on: August 18, 2007, 13:21:41 »
I am pulling out my engine (3.5 V8 ) and have undone everything (I Think) The 4 bolts on the torque converter and 6 bolts around the bellhousing and it still wont shift  :?

Is it jus 20 years of being there and just being stubborn or have I missed something??

missed a bolt

It is now out BUT on the back of the engine there are some allen bolts and one has rounded off and needs to be drilled out

Has anyone got a spare one as they seem to be an odd thread and I really want to put it back together. (dealers are miles away and it is the weekend)
