duke's new bumpers.

After some hassles and some swearing we have got duke's new bumpers fitted to the lwb vitara.

rear

front.

now before any one starts, i will not be making any more front bumpers with the a-bar. ( i cannot get my head round this eu legislation, so to be safe, i am not making anymore with a-bars.)

Hmm, no affence but I'm not sold :( Too much bare metal where the old bumpers where, tis half the challenge in making em look right. Maybe side plates on the rear one and integrate the tank guard? Dont look too bad at all with the towbar on it but I dont think itd look anywhere near that good on the Rabbit.

Curious that the back end on that one looks different to mine, is it lwb/swb and what year?

no offence taken.

its a lwb vit.
they have a different cross member to the swb.

i personally would have trimmed the sides off under the bumper.

but thats what he wanted.

looks alot better in the flesh and with the number plate fitted.

Thats what I was thinking. I have a tubular x-member and the tank is right there as well, hence the remark about the guard. IIRC all the metal down there on the back is just 'bling' so trimming it or even rolling it back on itself would help.

Wonder what could be done to that exhaust, that could be trimmed back too I guess.

My guard is mangled and needs replacing. If I get round to doing it before you find one you are welcome to it. I owe you one anyhoo.
