Well got both of my engines side by side ready to swop over the clutch plate. Old engine is off a manuel new engine from a auto. And looking at the rear plate on the old engine there is a small bush that fits inside the rear plate attached to the crank and guess what the auto engine dont have one just a bigger hole were it should fit. So really fed up now as i havent a clue were i would get this bush or how i would get this bush (its my only motor).. :evil:  :evil:  :evil:  :evil:  :evil:

Got the bush out using a very special tool Sooty(bev) is the expert at using this tool. :wink:  8)

It sounds like you are talking about the spigot shaft bearing?

No got the bush out in one piece. Will put a pic up of it it's only very small. But if you want one i could sell you one for about £100 and double if you need bev to show you how to use it. :lol:

I replace them as a matter of course, they don't cost the earth anyway.

If it's a plain bush then you can sometimes remove it by filling the hole with grease and driving a bar of the correct diamter into the bush (like an old geabox input shaft).

Yea and its great to watch the guy hitting the bar in get covered in greese when the bush comes out  :lol:  :lol:  :wink:
