Seems odd though, in the past, the scammers were generally using the buy it now option..... to get people to pay before they realise there's nothing to collect....   why list it far too cheaply as a classified ad...???

I reckon it should be about double that price.....!!.. if not slightly more than that even....

Does seem cheap but as for a 300 tdi on gas.. wheres the problem with that??? its getting common to gas inject a diesel for a power boost.. not an entirely uncommon conversion although it does nowt for economy so no recouping the costs as per gassing a petrol

I think the fact the ebayer joined today might be why he has no feedback yet! Maybe just maybe he joined to sell his motor, and he does welcome viewing ... maybe not a scam just a fella down to his last few quid and desperate for quick cash .... just a possibility :?:

BTW a decent LPG conversion (multipoint) will give you as much power as running on petrol, but you can then advance the timing more for LPG to gain more power, it is theoretically possible to do.  The common wisdom that you loose power on LPG has more to do with the fact that so many conversions are not really that good anymore but we are prepared to put up with them for now.  Blue being a case in point.

its a TDi

you squirt the gas in to burn along with the excess fuel, thus getting rid of the black smoke & giving LOADS more power

That's funny, it's been removed whilst I was formulating a reply.

The point I was GOING to make was, surely the price on the auction is a starting price... the whole point of an auction is that you start low and bid upwards?  :?

Hi butch0_16, thanks for your interest in the land rover. Sorry for delayed reply but i just got to an pc with internet due to urgent problems in family i'm out of town. I am selling it so cheap(2100 pounds including delivery anywhere in the UK) because I will be moving soon and won't have the space to keep it. I have to tell you that I'm currently out of town with some major problems so the shipping company will take care of delivery, that's why I'm offering free delivery and a refund policy.
I do not do COD because I had a bad experience a few months ago with a fake money transaction. If you want to buy this car email me back with your shipping address & phone number to start the official procedure trough eBay. They will send you a notification with ALL the info regarding delivery, purchase protection and refund policy so please provide your details before any more questions. You will find 90% of answers in that notification from eBay! Please reply only if you have the money for payment, don't waste my time and yours....

Thank you, Marcus Wood
