I am a chav.
There i've said it and it feels good.
Why? Well i spent half of yesterday installing an amp and sub into big blue maverick then another half day fitting a carbon fibre air cleaner and a decat.
There we go sad and proud of it!

ARGH my EYES!
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

I agree
Having a good, loud, clear sound system in your car is'nt a bad thing
I run a 12" sub + 350w amp, 6x9's and a Mp3 head unit.
Blows my ears apart!

You mean bum and dross I think

I have a 4 channel bridgeable amp in the boot, plus the factory sub (albeit with new cones) and TBH it gives me a headach if I turn it up too much.

But the greatest soundtrack of all is the V8 under the bonnet :(biglove):
Blue,  1988  Range Rover 3.5 EFi with plenty of toys bolted on
Chuggaboom, 1995 Range Rover Classic
1995 Range Rover Classic Vogue LSE with 5 big sticks of Blackpool rock under the bonnet.

Does dolby prologic 7.1, 14 speakers and 2 subs count?

It doesn't distort ... and it gets very loud. The only odd thing is the "non-indication" of the volume level

Talking of V8 sound tracks
I was in our workshop's the other day and i was told to turn off my sound system because it was rumbling.
I then realised it wasn't even on and it was Matt's 4.6 V8 Defender running outside.
Of course, much pee taking was had
V8's do have a awesome sound but some good driving rock or something dancy nasty works a treat for the ears when driving.
Long drive's with a un-silenced V8 wil drive you mad
Been there done that

Oh no not a CHAV! Please say you don't mean it or I'll have to sell my Terrano.... Snif snif

Other than the sound system what makes you think you are a CHAV?

Thanks to working in deepest bradford i seem to be adopting an alarming propensity to say things like innit and b. Other than that not much to set me apart as a chav.
