i have just welded up my front inner arches because (a)i could see the floor, not good  :lol: and (b) my bosses 200tdi failed the mot because of the same thing, being within 12inches of the suspension(which is clearly not connected ???) i also have a few small holes in the boot underneath the carpet by the back door, iv also welded these up but there is another plate underneath there that has rotted does this need replacing for the mot???  :roll:  its above the fuel tank, any answers muchly appreciated, thanks

Normally your disco will pass with a boot floor a bit holy, as long as its not by the seat belt mounting points , if your passing accocks green poping to cn autos and i will tell you forsure if its a fail or not, hope that helps

cheers ive now welded the holes up but its what the floor panel is suppossed to be spot welded to i think, it looks useless so i mite cut the rotton bits out  :lol: i would get it over there but i cant insure it till december  :(  :( cheers anyway mate
