Can I book mine in after yours comes out !!!Looks well smart and is probably, metal wise, newer than a 57 plate D3
Mine is nearly done too! similar amount of welding although we managed to patch my inner wings in the end!! Just got to put it all back together and fabricate new brackets for the front and the bottom of the wings.....and those silly little flappy bits the headlights sit in!
mate that looks truely awsome its nice to see that you have resurected her instead of weighing her in massive respect and a real champion to the land rover cause.give yourself a pat on the back from me mate :D :D
I know its more expensive doing a full rebuild like Mick but I would prefer to do that than just break a Disco cause at the end of the day Micks keeping one more Disco on the road for another 10 years or more, good on ya mate and well done with the work you've done
WHAT? sombody is not paying attention in class, the 200 rust bucket as you call it was got for the chassis, as the chassis on the 300 was twisted, i then rebuilt the customers 300 body, if you would like to ask the customer why he has spent so much on this motor feel free, whats wrong with rebuilding somthing you like? and have no intension of selling it, as for the easy jap import idea, well what fun would that be? easy is not the way i do business, hard work never hert anybody, and tbh i love the challenge, but thanks for your comments :D
