What is it with this country?

Hoping to get the Disco tonight or at least make arrangements to get it.

And suddenly discover due to the standard useless beurocratic ineptness and generally retarded outlook of the countries major utilities as a whole, despite being at least £850 up this month I have no damn money !!!!!

Bank Charges
Snowballed TV licence
The leashold charge (solicitor confirmed this was £25) Has come in at £39 a month plus they want two lots of £88 for some other reason they havent specified.
Paypal have ballsed up my account so its gonna take 7 days to get the money

Why the hell do we as a country put up with this sheer level of ineptitude and mediocre service?

Really not a happy bunnie. So no Disco and the Zook is still up for sale :(
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

I too have suffered with similar things. How come it takes 3 days for an electronic transfer of money?

I had a similar problem a couple of months ago with transferring money from my debit account to the visa to pay off, did it on the morning before it was due

But it wasn't done in time to pay, and the visa stung me £17 in charges, went to the bank and moaned at them, usual b/s, but they refunded the sting, if I had gone in paide with a counter cheque it would have cleared

It was all within the same bank system, talk about rip off

I asked them for a pair of scissors, they wanted to know why, I was going to shred the cards they issued me, then close all accounts down and go to the next bank across the road

bing sorted, Electronic transfers a load of b/s

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40

Thats why i have all my accounts with one bank so that when i pay myself a wage i can do it over the phone and its done there and then.
I'm with the norwich and peterborough and can say that they are always friendly and helpful unlike my last bank.
If your are paying a credit card by transfer it will take three days normaly anyway.Unless the card is under writern by your bank.
