tomorrow i will have been in the club for one year. hip hip. sadly though some of the friends that i have made over the past year are no longer around. not because they've passed away, its just that like all social groups, politics and gossip (and listening to the women) have split up a good group of friends. so heres to the PFJ (spliters!) i hope your all well and come back we miss you x

We are all still around, with even more members in the Region, and as always, no hidden agenda's, just maybe someone else's interpretations of what friendship means.........  :!:  :!:  :!:  :!:

I'm still here doing the same old things that I've always done and enjoying mud club events. I'm sure that I speak for all of your old friends when I say that nobody has a problem with anything you have ever said or done and we hold out the hand of friendship to you. We're still wondering what we did that made you and another cut all ties with us. You are more than welcome to join us again whenever you want. The trick is to delve through the bull and find out the truth before you make decisions. One person’s version of events can often be clouded and biased towards them; some folk can be smiling vipers who will eventually turn on you as well. To sum up: don't believe all you hear and try to see & hear both sides of an argument before you jump to conclusions, be careful of people with hidden agendas.

I just wish I had more time to join in. My own fault to going back to working five nights

No sides being taken as I'm not sure what went on, if anything has. But reading between the lines (dangerous sometimes) if there has been a problem between folks, draw a line in the sand and move forward for the benefit of all because I can only remember good times.

We do to, not your fault that you have to work, especially nights. Must play havoc with the old body clock and then there's the day stuff that you have to do as well.

Didn't know you was a preacher mr B     ,

We the Barmie clan wish to stay friends with every one, we have been away for a while due to family circs, occupation changing & selling our house & trying to find a new one,  but hopefully back to the normall fun & frolics, Trust me life is bad enough without people making it any harder, after what we have  just been through you need as many friends as possible,

If we have upset anyone in any way shape or form we appologise but what for we do not know  :?  :?  :? .

Nuff said lets just get on with life & drink more beer around some more camp fire's  :)
John.

I agree - reading all the posts about people leaving and other people wanting them to stay is a little silly really. We are all adults and there is more to life then people bickering and falling out over things that nobody really knows what they are falling out over.

As my father rightly said life is to short and bad enough with everything out thats going on - we should know.

Enjoy life and the friends that you have made along the way. :)  :)

Lets all sit crossed legged and sing

Chorus: Cumby-yah, my Lord, cumby-yah.
Cumby-yah, my Lord, cumby-yah.
Cumby-yah, my Lord, cumby-yah.
Oh, Lord, cumby-yah.

Somebody’s crying, Lord, cumby-yah.
Somebody’s crying, Lord, cumby-yah.
Somebody’s crying, Lord, cumby-yah.
Oh, Lord, cumby-yah.

Somebody’s sighing, Lord, cumby-yah.
Somebody’s sighing, Lord, cumby-yah.
Somebody’s sighing, Lord, cumby-yah.
Oh, Lord, cumby-yah.

(Chorus)

Somebody’s praying, Lord, cumby-yah.
Somebody’s praying, Lord, cumby-yah.
Somebody’s praying, Lord, cumby-yah.
Oh, Lord, cumby-yah.

(Chorus)

Were in real danger of sounding like a bunch of namby pamby little children.

This must be some kind of Midlands thing, not known to those South of Watford Gap!
However as a displaced East Anglian (and therefore not botherered by North South divides) I am still somewhat confused by this outpouring of solidarity!
Pass me a turkey someone!

You should come back to the meetings.  They are fun and friendly, with new members joining all the time.

Anyone is welcome to join us - as Chris said - we haven't gone anywhere and are still enjoying our meetings/events/offroading etc.  I for one have made some fantastic friends in Mud Club - I have met lots of people and had some great times.

Long may it continue.
