hi guys need some help as im a bit confused as to wot certain buttons are for and wot they do as im so used to my old 200tdi .

ive got a 1996 300tdi es auto
air con yes cruise ??? not sure

i want to know the button that look like its got the motorway on it wots it for?? and the buttons on the steering wheel ? well the side ov it wot are they for 1 says set+ and the other res- ..ye sounds a bit noobish but lost my maual .  :oops:

The "Motorway" button is the master switch for the cruise - switch this on.

The Set button sets the cruise speed or increases it. The Res button resumes the criuse speed.

Have a play - needs to be 30mph and above.
