2" drop kit for shock mount
« on: September 02, 2007, 16:11:00 »
Has any one got some pic's of the Rear Shock Absorber Top Mount Dropper Kit? Can’t see how the bolts that come on the back plates fit to the chassis. (Too short) thanks

right heres how it works. what ya need to remember is that its a drop plate, not a shock mount - you still use the original mount. the short studs that are welded on are what the mount bolts to... the long allen bolt thats with it goes through the chassis, and then you need two extra "through the chassis bolts" to finish off.

when i bought ours, i didnt actually realise i'd bought a drop plate rather than a -2" mount. took me a few minutes to work out what the hell was going on, so you're not alone ;)
