I've been raising mine with one of Wizard's breather manifolds. Axles are obvious but could not find others.

Whilst on a different job, found two breathers (identified with curved tops) emerging out of the gearbox tunnel into the engine bay on the NS. They are tuckedwell down behind water bottle and engine.

Not sure which is which but in due course I will extend them too.

The gear box and transfer box breathers run up the front of the bulkhead.
The timing case will need a breather fitted to it.
You can buy a new plate as part of a kit or just buy some small breather push fittings and adapt your current plate.
Push fittings avalible from leading 4x4 stockists.

If you're a tightwad like me, push-fit breather extensions are also available from all good aquarium shops and garden centres for next to nothing.  :D

If you buy the Mantec kit, which is what Land Rover used to use, it comes with a timing case cover with built in breather (but i wouldn't bother, its very expensive).
I guess as well as a wading plug it need to breath as well  :?

I found the timing cover plate was just blocked off as the air con tension pulley was mounted to that bit of metal so no breather anyway.

Any photos on auto box and transfer box breathers as I cant find them either :( Really would like to finish the job off after over a year of starting it!!
