This case was in the 'Yorkshire Post'[/b] yesterday.

Admittedly it's a nice reasonably open A- road, but touching 176????? In the wet? At dusk?? Crossing nice slippery solid white lines??

The man's a lunatic!!!!!!!!!!!

Could that speedo be calibrated in KM? - i reckon they'd be struggling to get round some of those corners in the wet at 90+mph like they seem to be doing.
Even so those type of speeds , doing what they were doing gives all us bikers a very bad name .

There is no way that lorry is going 35 round that corner.
Also look at the signs and markers they pass, just dosnt seem right.
Anyone know the distance those markers are usually spaced? Wouldnt be too difficult too work out actual speed, surely the police will realise this!

yet another ill informed load of hocum. No way is that ever getting near that speed. The press just love a fairy story.

The guy clearly cant ride for toffee and shouldnt have a licence but dont believe everything you read.

Crossing white lines while banked over in the wet....death wish....maybe it was a police rider!! they seem to do that kind of madness all the time.

176km/h is aroud 109mph ... which is more likely.

Idiot though .... do they think the white lines are there to make the road look pretty?

can't agree more about him giving us bikers a bad name..we don't need help from people like that... :evil:  Still, i don't suppose he will be around for long riding like that. Just feel sorry for the family he will leave behind.

but if nothing else he should have his licence ripped up publicly

time him between points its 176 MPH, the guys a lunitic, having cut people like him out of the sides of wrecked cars and seen the aftermath its normally the people they hit that suffer most. they should lock drivers like that up and throw away the key,

I was talking to a Traffic Officer that I know this morning, I bumped (metaphorically - not literally!!) into him in town

That video got brought up, as I know he's another 'Yorkshire Post'[/b] reader.

It appears that some Officers can't believe the speed, some wish it was them, but none can't question his stupidity

And people wonder why some members of the Police & NHS refer to bikers simply as 'Organ Doners'

Look at the rev counter ! Deffo 176 MPH ... that bike is screaming in top gear.
What an idiot !
I use that road regularly and thought I could wind a motor up on it, but seeing him perform makes me shudder.
 I pity the poor folk in the emergency services who have to collect bits of him when he comes off,not to mention the 100's of roadusers who will be diverted while the police check the scene of the accident.

Anyone travelling that route will know how many people go through walls judging by the amount of temporary orange  fencing there is covering the holes.. this bloke is a total waste of skin... unless someone needs a graft !
