my dad has standard jap import 300 tdi he has got a new caravan and the rear sags a bit. what would be the cheapest option for heavier duty springs?? ta glyn

I had the same problem and bought standard height hd spring from mm4x4. Lifted the rear about 1"+ and the front just under 1" and now tows much better!

I think the set of 4x springs was around £55 8)

One option is to just fit different spec land rover springs to the rear, or if the springs are old and sagged regardless of load just fit a new set will help.


Looking at the spring specs in the below link, standard 90 rear springs may work well for stiffeneing the rear suspension.
