Does anyone know of any centers that do offroading activities. A friend wants to treat her Fiance to an offroad day. i did suggest sending him out with you lot, which was politeley declined. :)

They dont have a 4x4 so the site would have to provide one.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

I went there a few years ago when you used you own vehicle but I do think they have developed since.

If you want the vehicle supplied then a Landrover experience day is the answer.  There is a new one that has opened in Cheshire. Best way is to have a test drive and then say I don't think it will be any good off-road. This will ignite the sales rep and they will give you a complimentary half day at a landrover experience centre near you. good points - you go out with an instructor, bad points, it doesn't last long enough

The site a knowsley is tiny and a bit rubbish.

The one at Speke for the Freelander is smaller and a bit sterile, it even has the hill climb hard cored
I go past it when going to Speke shops and you can see it from the road to the Knowsley Expressway

I went to the Knowsley one between Christmas and New Year a few years ago. It maybe small but when it's full of water and ice, that soil/muddy can still be fun and catch you out. There was bomb holes that were quite deep, and don't forget the question was for someone who has not been out before I think. Close enough to home, plenty going on from what the website says and if you have had enough, go round the park.
