What a wonderful survivor :D
I've known about this building for years, but only recently had the requirement to get into that 'neck of the woods'

click on pic, to enlarge

There's 3 images, go to the last one to see the rather complex tolls

If anyone's interested, it's located here near Walsden on the A6033

Just reminded me of the little stone toll booths that are at the end of the causeway into Portmadog.
We went across the other week and its the first time I noticed they stopped the toll, think it used to be 5p   .
The little stone buildings for the toll men are now falling into disrepair, rather sad  :(

I hate driving across that causeway into porthmadog.
I think its from when we were kids, and that big sharp stone wall is soooo close to the side of the car. To this day I get a cold sweat when I set off across it.

Go on....cut me in half........it says SUZUKI all the way thru the middle!!

Nice...there are a number of them around here in South Devon.  Will take some pics next time I pass them.
Did everyone see that?  Because I will NOT be doing it again!
