Hi all, I need a portable dvd player pat tested within a week ?? preferably as near to basingstoke kinda area as  possible ???
  The reason for this as some of you may of read my post? im going into hospital for a while or so and i have to have any portable appliances tested to use them, the dvd player is only 5 months old so not expecting any problems

  Cheers if any one can help out ???

I thought the hospitals tested them themselves.......... or did that fall by the way with so many other cut backs  :roll:

Yer hospitals test them, they tested my lads laptop and xbox playstation and all kinds when he was in for , shall we say an extended stay in hospital a couple of years ago  :wink:
(thank god thats behind us now)

Your quite right they will take them away n test um for you, but i was trying to get everything in its place before going in, and also dont want to run the risk of it being misplaced,
TD5 with a few Tweaks ;o)

local tool hire shop does them round here so maybe there is one near you??

Not all places will accept thing PAT tested by others. Have you asked them prior to going in?

Might be worth checking. If we have any contractors ect at work, we will not accept their test. We have to do them ourselves.

Items should be tested from new aswell. And depending if they are single or double insulated determins the type of test they require. :D

Yeah I think you will find even if you have them tested they will have to be tested by them....... this happened during one of my extended stays...... we had just had it checked but they still had to have someone from their team come round and check it.......... it never left my site though, they did it in my room.
