We were young and impressionable when cb was cool back in the eighties
My 'handle' was the Bandit (reference to the film Smokey & the Bandit for those that dont know)
But then again, so was about 4000 other users with the same handle too

Back on Auntie Mary I was Midnite Dynamo (partly due to my liking of rockabilly music and partly because I used to get up late and stay up late/early), but by the time I started on the wagons I was just plain ol' DEANO.

Me & a mate were into fishing at the time, & he had a bowl of maggots in his mums fridge. I think a few slipped out though, & as a result, the kitchen was full of bluebottles. His handle: Bluebottle. Mine: Greenbottle.

My Dad worked on the p&o ferry to ireland and I used to sneek on with him and roam the ship. My favorite place was the engine room were I got to know the old boy who looked after the boilers and he started calling me steamboat don't know why but it stuck for years :?

Mine was "Rogue Trooper".
I was a big fan of 2000 A.D. and as a teen, thought it was cool. Although, a lot of people thought I was sayin "Road Trooper".
My dad owned a pub, at the time, and one of his regulars set up a printing business, and gave me and my sister the chance to have our own cards printed, to hand out to mates etc.
They looked the dog's and all, until someone pointed out that my handle was "Rouge Trooper" which sounded rather suspect, so they were put in the bin.
