Heated windscreen
« on: September 14, 2007, 19:35:39 »
My new 110 is a bit of a project on the wiring front. The previous owner was something of an electrics anorak by the look of it as virtually the whole vehicle has been rewired, with multiple fuses and relays everywhere. It's all been done very professionally, but not all of it's finished!

Anyway, it's fitted with a heated windscreen, but it's not connected. The screen has three 'tabs' - one at each end and one in the middle. Anybody know how they should be wired?

I think the screen has 2 elements, the two outter tabs are for connecting upto Live and the center one is for earth.

Best to wire it upto a timer so its not on all the time and burn out.
