Reccomend a good instructor and buy her a small car
Otherwise you WILL go hungry, and lonely (if you know what I mean)

Whatever you do, don't get in the car with her until she has her full license, and even then, try keeping your hints to a minimum.

I think the only reason we didn't get a divorce when Kate was learning was that, since I am a professional driver, she could not rebute me, but by Jove, did we argue.

Loved ones don't take it well when you criticise their driving.  I once got an earfull for telling Abby she was about to drive through a red light (which she would have done, if I hadn't said anything).  I wasn't really expecting thanks, but abuse seemed a bit OTT.

Hi,

i would recommend lessons - i can still remember the time that i walked off one way and himself stormed off the other way with the car in the middle of the road with both driver & passenger doors open and the engine running (in the middle of St Anns for those who know nottingham) - i am amazed that it did not disappear!
