That is a real shame, another pilot and classic warbird gone. All the safety freaks will on about banning them all. Thoughts to the family.

If Sidney Camm had not spent his own money building the Hurricane in 1935, we would have not had the capability to meet the Luftwaffe and defend the skies.
But due to it's wood and resined cloth, not many survived. They were unable to be upgraded like the Spitfire, although due to there simple design the had a quicker repair and turn around time.
Becoming the most sucessful fighter aircraft used in the battle of Britain.

cant quite picture that one :?  heading toward the ground at 150mph in a plane made out of wood and canvas

anyway another fine plane down if it wasnt for them we would all be driving on the wrong side of the road
