Looked at the compressors before but was a little wary, would they inflate a 33x12.5 quickly or do you think it would labour a little? I was so close to buying one but couldnt part with the cash on an unknown!?

Cheers

I had no problem sticking a 33x12.5 back on my Disco rims.

There's always the lighter fuel trick if you're really stuck

Just don't use the lighter fluidtrick on a damaged tyre, it turns a get you home spare into no spare very quickly.

Don't skimp on the welding rods, buy the best quality general purpose rods you can get/afford/justify and store them in a very dry place.

The cables and clamps tend to be the worst part of cheap arc welders in my experiance, the last 2 arc welders we've had at home are from machine mart, but they have the clamps and cable from old Oxford oil cool welders put on before they were even turned on. Oh and as for the masks that come with cheap welders        we do do a fair bit with them at home mind.
