can do yeah depends what your doin. do you mean changing the whole box or just the gears inside? changing a defender one for a disco one will give u a higher high but leave low the same.

Was thinking to want to lower both to compensate for taller rubber, either by different cogs or a compleate box off another model?

I think the gear ratio's on the dirty D's may be a bit smaller than the petrols but I would'nt like to put money on it :roll: :roll:
