what oil for a 200tdi?

Can i use 15w 40 oil in a 200 tdi engine as i have some i can use.

I use it all the time I get it free from a mate .It works fine for me and I still dont do enough oil changes,

If you cant fix it with Duct tape you havent used enough duct tape.
