Good news - we are keeping the landy!
« on: September 24, 2007, 23:17:35 »
Well, the plan was to sell the landy and get a proper car for the wife to drive to work in - because of this i've not really been on here much in the past few months - and also, there's been no off roading for me because i can't break it.

Anyway, the lovely H doesnt want another car. She can't think of another car she would like (the reality of driving a mini down the motorway lost its appeal now we're not in our twenties!) so we came to the conclusion that we may as well keep it.

Excellent!

I have a feeling it was the five other landies that waved to her on the way home from work last week.

Anyway, the bad news is that its no pay and play days - but im going to be after some laning!

I better re-fit the CB!

So a big hello to everyone on here that know me and H!

Good to hear you're keeping him!

Theres so much more to Landies than just flogging them around a quarry.

Ours are used to tow the family caravan.
Endless DIY tasks,
a portable kennel complete with full cage so the rear door can be left open for the dawgs.
Mobile workshop,
portable table for the BBQ food prep - also known by the technical name bonnet.
Roof rack for fence pannels (nearly that time of year again!)
Standing platform for picking Damsons - the Gin is now in process  :)  Bike transporter for those jollies with the kids.
Parts couriers for the other Landies

So much of the above would be plainly dull or not feasible in a eurobox.
