90 prop shaft

my prop shaft has play, what i would like to know if i remove it can i still drive my lr as i need ift for work  untill i ca get it sorted.

I fill it up, she drives it.

1987 landrover 90 with a 2.3 petrol (11h)  powerplant..mine all mine...now with duel fuel

if you remove the front prop you can run it in difflock in high

wheres the play ?, ive run around on a uj with no needles in before, just spider to bearing  :P  :P
lasted me the week until i had time to sort it

a breaker i used sold me one tonight (opened up at 1930 hrs)  :D

very happy now as i dont have to loose time off work in the morning.

Just for future ref, you can drive with only 1 prop on, dont matter which one you just have to put it in diff lock & high, if you have the back prop off make sure you put the nuts back on the hand brake drum end otherwise it will fall off & overtake you whilst your driving!! :lol:  :lol:  :roll:

not very nice to drive like it tho, makes some strange noises & is a bit bouncy!! :lol:  :lol:
