jimny problem after water pump done
« on: September 27, 2007, 02:07:14 »
hi ive done my pump but now the rad seem to stay cool all the time even after a drive the thermostat does open as i can feel the hot water gush in then it warms the rad for a bit then goes cool again
should it be hot including the bottom hose because at the mo there not
the temp gauge is at normal
ive run it with the rad cap off to see if its got any trapped air but got no joy from that
do me a favor and run your jimny till its hot then get out and feel the rad while its running and see if its warm ,hot or cold for me   thanks

Jamesy, did you sit with the engin running on the drive, mine never seems to get hot enough this way, but take it for a short 3-4 mile spin and the heater etc is fine.
