Found this whilst browsing for something non 4x4 related & concerned with an Italian motoring manufacturer (no, not the prancing pony)
Anybody Seen One Of These Recently?
I haven't seen one for years.
I'll bet there's some on here have never heard of them, or am I showing my age??
(anybody want to buy a brochure for them??

More Stonefield pictures here
They were a Ford 'A' Series/101FC sized space-framed truck with the option (as far as I recall) of a Ford 3.0V6 or a 5.9 V8 (?diesel), manual/auto options,
4x4, or 6x4 (trailing rear axle)
A choice of bodies & transmissions, 9.00/16 tyres (& possibly 11.00/16's?)
Utilised by public utliites & as airfield fire tenders.

We had one for an assment a long while ago, probably late seventies, I know it had a big V8 in it and was virtually unstoppable quite a beast, cant really remember much more about it. Great fun to drive I remember that

There is a chap local to us who runs 2 or 3 of them... quite active in the Stonefield register.
There aren't many about. I was tempted by one of his a while back and would have had it, but the lack of spares put me off.
