« on: October 03, 2007, 08:26:46 »
it is with sad regret that i am going to say that my brother (sparkes)passed away early monday morning. he leaves behind jo his wife and 3 kids.
he turned 40 this year and we had talked about getting old together , riding our motorcycles and rebuilding my 90 and him wanting to paint it yellow and black so it stood out.

he was the youngest in the family but at times i looked up to him (should have been the other way around..lol)

he used to read this web page every week, but talked on it a few times only, he was with the west mids crew jan 07 to which i think a lot of people will know him as the guy who had the 02 face lift disco and the guy who talked the farmer out of taking our reg plates numbers and calling the police.

Rest in peace kido (sparkes) i will miss you loads

love

Thanks for the replies
i can say that from the day we went our own ways and left home we became good friends (we always fighted at home). not once did we have anything bad to say against each other infact we were always there for each other.
he was my best man when i got married and ive often told him he should have turned left not right at the lights..lol and i would have been a free man.
we did a lot together including doing our bike i.a.m and every year doing the birmingham easter egg run.

so you all can tell we did not have any bad times so all the throughts of him will alway be good ones.
i know i had the best brother in the world and most (99%) people who he help would agree with that.

gce (landrover spares)in redditch  will tell you he would turn up for a cuppa and a chat but get covered in oil helping the boys doing repairs.. in fact he help them replace a range rover air bag last saturday.

i will miss him loads but i must carry on not for myself but for my family and his. i know i cant replace him but i will do more than i should if you know what i mean.

my god daughter told me that she lost her no1 dad but know she got the same problem with her no2 one...(we both played her up) i told her to be in bed by ten or there be trouble.
why can life be great one min and be a right b***h the next. we never know the answer to that.

Hi Darryl

Sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. they say time is a great healer but it isnt really, the memories will stay forever.
My older brother died when he was 29. we fought like hell when growing up but became great friends as we got older.
I think about him most days and he's been gone 17 years this year.
At time like this you can't say much to ease the pain but believe me it will get better.

regards
wizard & family.

Darryl

So sorry to hear of your family's loss.

Steve did a great PR exercise with the farmer on that day and made him see that there are caring 4x4 drivers around.

You and yours are in all of our thoughts and prayers.

Best regards
Chris
