I can get you a complete copy of your web site without any trouble. The issue is how it is created / hosted. If you normally upload everything via FTP then it's easy. If you have to use their site creation tool to get the pages online, then it may not be so easy.PM me if you'd like to discuss...
that's a load of codswallop*if* it can be viewed, they can take a copy of it.. no ifs, no buts... whether they can be bothered or not is another matter....
before you give up completely, let us see what we can do eh ;)
I've just taken a complete dump of the site, so if you have any grief with getting anything back... just shout.
My guess is that they have lost the database files which hold your site configuration, which is a bit poor really, since it's not like you can keep a backup yourself.
This techie stuff is over my head but on a legal note, are you paying them? if so they have a responsibility to you for the service they provide!
Sale of goods and services act 1974 (ammended 198something) states that " the customer is entitled to be re-embursed to the financial position they would have been in had the good or servisce not been faulty"! They owe you for your time at the very least!Their responsibility is to repair, replace, refund in that order, but this is harder to apply to a service than to goods obviously.
