Wouldn't risk it...

I know Mash carries a saw while laning and I've seen him use it... might mistake my car for a branch and convert it to a SWB! LOL

[our] Kit recalls those great “wood” Wagons of the past that started the whole S.U.V. movement. The timeless design and long history of woodies as the rugged work-horse was forever changed to include luxury appointments and comfort.

I know we're accused of some weird things as 4x4 owners, but the demise of wooden panelled cars ?!?!

Now a) how is that our fault and b) is it really a bad thing ?

I'm not sure they are saying it's the fault of SUV's, datalas. I think they are suggesting the woody's were the forerunners of the SUV.

Not that I'm defending anyone who thinks they look good   Of course, some of the old woodies did look the part.... but that was in the 40's. Not such a great idea on a 2007 Mini Cooper

Depends, anything to disguise the fact it's a 2007 mini might not be a bad thing ...  Especially when it's in cat vomit yellow.

Shouldn't the real question be what was you looking for when you found it????? 8)  8)  8)

Now that's not very environmentally friendly of you...... just think of the carbon from the fires

Actually, its not so bad. I've seen worse. As far as bad taste jabs at the US due to some dodgy wood grain stickers, go spend an hour in Halfrauds, etc. More fake 'bolt ons' than an episode of Footballers Wives, more sticky-back plastic than an entire season of Blue Peter...

Now go to www.barryboys.CO.UK.

Oh for yuck's sake, whatever next

Seriously though, the 'woody' wasn't always a name for that embarrasing condition, rather like the Morris traveller, wooden panelled station wagons were a big thing in the good old U.S. of A.

if you want a big brown smear down you car, park next to a muck spreader!

cant say i`d be in a rush to make my disco look like something i`d just driven over..

It has been said that, given enough time, a million monkeys bashing at a million typewriters would eventually produce the complete works of Shakespeare. Thanks to the Saxo forums, we now know this to be wrong
