Timing Cover Plug - 3/8 ?????

Hello everyone, again, can anyone tell me what thread size the sump plug is on a 200tdi discovery, I'm lead to believe it's 3/8 but I'm not sure!

Which one do you mean, the sump plug, as in text above, or the timing cover drain as in the subject heading  :?:  :?:

Its part number ERC9240 @ £2.10 each. Not sure of thread size, but 3/8" rings a bell....., said Quasimodo's head......  :wink:

The thread size is indeed 3/8"
If you are plugging the hole for wading, don't forget you will need one for the gearbox as well. (Same size)
I work for a plumber's merchant and get 3/8" brass plugs for about 50 pence each. They are the same thing but much cheaper :wink:
