All due to these little ones we had no sleep last night

3 boys & 5 girls, all doing fine now after a bit of a scare, fisrt one came at 4.30pm then nothing for 2-1/2 hrs so after a phone call to the vets mad dash but then she delivered  1 in the car park when we got there & another in the vets & 2 more on the way back home, the last on came about 11.30 mom ripped his cord  tried to stem the bleeding but couldn't so back to the vets again thinking he would put him to sleep, but he stiched him up  :D

We have called the last one Lucky-Paddy (the vet was Irish)

Now all we have to do is find 8 good homes, any one interesetd  :?:

They are pedigree Boxers but due to mom concieving two weeks before her 1st birthday they won't register them  :?
John.

They are lovely  :D  :D  :D When our girl had pups she did the same & nipped the cord to short so we put a paper towel on the cord & applied presure luckly it stopped after a few mins :D After that i've always cut the cords myself, but let the mother have the sack etc.
Enjoy your grandpups as they grow up so fast :D

It didnt help when pups making little noises (as they usually do) and Dad decided to growl at them!

Mum thought this wasnt very nice so jumped out of her bed and chased Dad round the dining room table growling at him and then fighting!!

My mother jumped on a chair to get out the way whilst we seperated them and put Dad outside and led mum back to the pups!!

All at 7.30 this morning!

For many years I, too, wanted a Boxer ... until my best friend got one which spent most of his time destroying the kitchen, opening the wardrobe and eating her shoes, demolishing the contents of her knicker drawer ... the list was endless.

The dog also once went upstairs, opened a bedroom door and got in bed with someone who was staying overnight

The good bit is, though, he is really laid back and an absolutely gorgeous dog.  He acted as a punchbag for my Spaniel when she was a puppy (who incidentally was bred by the same best friend).  He still has scars on his legs from when she tried her claws out on him.  Sadly he now has cancer and doesn't have that long to live.

When the time comes, RIP, Buster.
