I went out training on the old mountain bike this morning,
and I can tell you it was cold, did 2 hours and when I got back my feet were freezing !!!!!

As long as it's cold and dry....I love it !!!

Got the heated seats ordered for the 90....

Bring it on Jack Frost...give us your best shot

Yeah, cycling to work at 7 in the morning is getting less appealing by the day.

Needed the de-icer this morning, and judging by how cold it is out there now, I'll be needing it again tomorrow.

The tobacco-addicted customers in the pub this evening were complaining somewhat about the lack of heat in the "smoking room".

Hoping for a really cold winter, lots of snow.  Not only will it make going out fun, it will mean that all the midges will die, and hopefully rid the country of Bluetongue.  Maybe give some of the livestock farmers in the south a chance of staying in business.

Pah

Its colder but not cold.

Cold is when your wife's car wont start because the deisel in the tank is like jello.

Or -42c when the Deleorean finally gave up any intention of starting.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

Almost lost my fingers to frost bite this morning (well, it felt like it), doing press ups on frozen grass.

Mind, will probably be a tad colder still in the Falklands next weekend.

Bring on the snow  8)

Well being out in it pulling frozen bins from 6:30am until 12:30pm I can certify that it was cold and it got colder until about 9am too.

On my hands alone I had insulated fingerless gloves, latex gloves on top (to stop wolly gloves getting wet  and then my work gloves on top. Feet I had normal socks and thick wooly ones (steel toe capped boots suck heat from my feet) and I had my burgler bill black insulated wooly hat on and just to top it all off I had 4 layers on my chest.

Yup you guessed it.

My hands and feet were frozen! First time I have ever pulled frozen bins before. Not sure I want to do it again. Might take a can of de-icer around with me

i loved it this morning, first time i had to use the ice scraper for along time,

and something else too,

it warms my heart to see my truck sitting there just waiting, and knowing that it wont be a prob if the roads are bad,,,thats when our trucks make sence,it dont matter what it does,1 ft of snow or flash floods, they will always get you where you want to go :D  :D

when you see all the lesser cars spining, going nowhere and we just trundel past its brill,

hope we get a proper winter this year a guys :D  :D
