New North wales Rep and Meet
« on: October 21, 2007, 20:28:57 »
Hello My name is Lee Celtic member no.433 and I am the new Regional Rep for North Wales. :(contented):

Now North Wales is a big place with everything spread out so getting a pub where every body can meet will be a bit of a push  :(

So what I am hoping is to have a traveling meet in several places at different times of the year so every body has the chance of a local meet. Starting next month anybody interested let's start a list of meeting spots.
It dosn't have to be a pub as there will be a lot of driving involved so maybe beaches of barbies car boots or dealers anything really
Also I know a small basic camp site in Carrog within 2 min walk from a pub with good beer and food in the heart of greenlane country where I think it would be cool to do a four seasons camp and drive ie. do all the same lanes at different times of the year .Anyone fancy it :D

Thats the one, MOT coming up so it's likely to be next year before it gets muddy again. Shame there's nothing Caernarfon way, I usually combine the Betws lanes with Happy Valley but it's usually a case of heading East for the lanes :D

Camping is great - in the summer at the Landy shows, winter is too cold, no matter how good the beer is...

Hello guys,

Please keep me posted if you arrange a meet and camping once the ice melts!
I'll get there if I'm not overseas with my job.

Cheers,

Ron Wood.

Yep to the choo choo

And a big YES to the real ale pub 100 yards from the site   Though please be aware there are no fires allowed and it is a very basic site (no showers) but nice and cheap .

Please remember this is the first meeting for the north wales region mud club and not just an excuse for a bit of grean laning and beer. [-X

Do you think anyone will belive that
