i have a few of these ,which im gonna be putting on ebay unless somone here is interested ,but has anyone ever used them ??? laptop dial up card takes a sim
im told you can surf the net as long as a phone signal is present
doh !!! i stuck it in the wrong section ..please feel free to move it :oops:

Almost perchased one at the boat show last year. They were a fair few bob back then.
Have my N80 which is quicker but they are handy little things.

i have about 12-15 of em ..must check exactly how many i have lol and a load of wlan cf cards for pda's without the function .... all used but in good condition with software

Ah ... Vodafone ones - they are paired with their original SIM 99% of the time. So unless the SIM and IMEI match it might not play :s
Are they GPRS or 3G?

i've got a mate of mine testing one at the moment(he's on vodaphone)when he pulls his finger out :roll: :)
its a 128-bit gprs type11 pc slot
the wlan cards are low power cf 802.11b wlan cards for wifi connection
was only gonna knock em out for a couple of quid each
dunno how much they sell for new ??

So as I understand this, I can plug one of these into my laptop or PDA while out and about and surf the net? Does it cost? if so how much a minute?

to be honest thats my question they do just slot in the side of your laptop after the software is installed though,i aquired these a while back (minus sim cards.and legal :lol: ) i have quite a few of them too :P

well just gone through the 1 box .. 18 cf wifi cards for pda's without wifi :lol:
there was 8. now 4 dial up cards in this as ive let a couple of friends have them (see thrashers post) regarding these as no sim is included
and a microsoft windows xp reinstallation cd sealed(dell) genuine
so im gonna go offers
i know in the other boxes there are keyboards cables and laptop batteries ,plus a few more dial up cards
mods shall i put this in the for sale bit or leave it here?? cheers
