But here is the dilema, do you go to bed at the same time and have an extra hour in bed or do you use it as an excuse to stay up an hour later than usual  :?  :?  :?

I have to drive my eldest daughter 40 miles to meet a coach at 2.30 am(old time) so she can catch a ferry to France in the morning.
I've been working all day and I shall be glad to have an extra hour in bed come the morning.

No extra hour in bed for us, our 7 month old son gets up at 6.30am every day, so muggins here will now be up at 5.30 in the morning   unfortunately he doesn't understand day light saving yet

There's about 15 clocks in this house, minus videos/PCs & cooker.
So I've changed most of them already

Clocks!
I have been crossing the Atlantic there and back for five months now, five clock changes every six days! My body clock is totally shot, I know where I am but I have no clue when!

We were wishing the UK went back last week as that would have been one less forward for us.

For the record the US go back next week.

Well done to my son ( nearly 8 months old now so no where near the newest!) who not only managed to sleep till 6.30am (and observe the extra hour) but also slept a further half hour too :) I of course was up at 6.30 waiting for him to wake up

Yesterday I was away with some caravanning mates and we played a cruel trick on a mate who gets up at 6am every day.

when he walked off we put his phone 1 hour forward so when he changed his clock he went back to old time! He wasnt up at 6am today!!!

Bloody scottish sods! its dark at 5 now, what a waste of an extra hour of precious daylight, all because it gets darker in scotland 10minutes earlier thn here. They have there own parliment, while we fund it and there kids education. So we should be allowed to have BST all year round like england has voted for by our parliment. rant over

GMT, or Winter time if you prefer - is the proper time. It's meant to go dark at 5 pm. If you don't want to waste precious daylight then I suggest you get up earlier
