im doing the 4 door classic bobtail which the end result is a 2 door pickup, its alot more work to do i reckon, havent done much off roadin in 4x4s as yet(not quite finished, but reckon having shorter/lighter doors could be easier to open when at an angle or up against a bank, as for looks, maybe the 2 door looks a bit better, what have you gone for?
nearly complete 1988 3.5 bobtail range rover
2" lift procomp shocks
modular wheels, colway mt tyres
lpg, champion winch
snorkel, cherry bomb
polybush kit
homemade bumpers/rock sliders/roll cage
lots of rust.

Call me old fashioned, but there just isn't anything quite like a bobbed 2dr RR.

Lee's 4dr spin on the bobtail looks good, but I just think that the 2dr door gives it a better proporsion.

Carry on Lee. Just think about the day when you point at it say "I made that" :D

aint mine for sale on ebay . i think a 2 door door p38a does look better too also fatter tyres

Body lifted, Gywn Lewis Challenge Suspension. Mach 5's with Jungle trekker Tyres ARB Locking Diffs Front and Rear. Steering Guard and Axel / Track Rod Guard. Modified bumpers front and rear Custome Rock sliders. Roccia Comp Arches,  Eleci Fans with X switch.

V8 90 County Defender. Rebuilt with galvanised chassi and bulkhead, Tubular sports manifodls and sports pipe. Old Man Emu suspension, under axel guard. BFGoodrich Muds on Mods.
