ok im 100% sure that after going through some seriously deep water on sunday, that ive damged my alarm ECU as while i was stuck in the water, the imobilser kicked in and i couldnt start my engine....

after getting back to dry land i tryed to turn it off with the key fob but no luck with that.... i had to disconect the battery and put it back on

well anyway now my key fob will not lock/unlock my truck and sometimes the key in the drives door lock wont open/close all the doors!!!!

basicaly i need to find the ECU that controls all this but i dont no what im looking for so dont no where to start

can anybody help???
I LOVE MUD!!!!!! but my engine doesnt

The ECU/module your looking for sits behind the glovebox next to the door post. depending on age it will be a blackbox or a greenbox. if you go to remotekey.co.uk site they have pictures and more info. you could unplug it and pop it in the post to them for repair, but remember when unplugged the imobilizer kicks in so you will need to bypass it as a temp measure
