As a laff, lets start a set of measurements we can all use on the forum, mainly to add to the sillness :) Feel free to join in and I'll start with my proposal, the standard Chav measurment of IQ.

A normal person is about 100 Megachavs or MCv whereas your averavrge burger flipper in their McJob is about 1 Chav. your avereage 17 y/o Corsa Drive comes in at about 10 millichavs (mCv).

Hmm looks like the idea of having single whole units to measure Chavs in fell over already. Need picoChavs for Reality TV 'Stars'
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

I have used a scale called 'Plonker' for quite a few years

Sometimes I find those people that answer the phones some of the overseas call centres register as high as 7 on the plonker scale. The regular 'trolley dolly' at my local supermarket might reach 6, that’s only because they can tie a shoelace

If anyone receives a 10 then they are totally inept and stupid.

I like it!

Could we also measure common sense by the angle a baseball cap is worn from dead-ahead?

Is there a relationship between PicoCHAVs and the height of underwear showing above someones trousers?

on the topic of "chavs"  saw a white low noisey tinted windowed of  a vehicle  today and the reg was    C4 HAV     But the 4 was considerably smaller than the other numbers,

My guess they paid a lotta dough for the plate and hopefully saved a little for the fines i think it will attract

I think you may be mistaking that with the 'Goth' standard measure of doom, gloom and general depression. Anymore than 1 Goth is considered dead though.

With this evidence I'd like to propose as a measure... a Yank (Yk).

1 Yk = 1 uChav

Thereby providing a handy way of simplifying the measurement of chavdom.

In fact... I'd like to propose the Yk as the universal measurement as everything else can be measured in multiples of Yk's. After all... I feel this evidence proves the benchmark for a Yk to be lower than a snakes belly!

That does pose the problem however of measuring those of our colonial cousins who graduated from primary school... so... I propose we adopt the measure of 1 Brit (Brt).

1 Brt = 100 Yk's

**With apologies to our American members!**
